Blogger Busted Diary 1

Behind Busted

Time to start editing, including an exclusive interview with our busted boys. I think it's going to be a mixture of adding in script and letting people just watch the scenes. We will see how it goes.

Filming Report - Busted

Filming took a lot longer than expected; who knew shot composition and director indecision could lead to such a long period of takes and retakes. Thankfully everyone brought their uniforms and were able to pull out some enthusiasm for dancing behind our boys. In this take, I think everyone got their acts together, the busted boys were able to jump on time and remember their words. However due to cast size issues I was forced to take apart and so the last section of our busted film was to be cut out from our doccumentary.

Media Busted

Currently our class is doing a busted remake, suffice to say our first take was a bit of a disaster. As documentor, my job is to film all these gritty bit and of course interview unwilling participants. Our first take went a little like this: Busted boys didn't jump at the right time, crowds too embarressed to dance and of course our directors couldn't be heard over the chatter. How will we reach the final piece? Well, lets see shall we?

CD/DVD cover

This was my first time using photoshop and while a fair amount I still don't understand I found it a lot easier than I thought after experiancing it and using the various paint tools and getting some inspiration from snow patrol covers.

I particularly found the last cover inspiring and used it as a bases for a cover. They tend to used a blurred background against stark outlining.

A2 Lip sinch

For this piece we had to lip sinch with a song, but because of illness I missed the intail piece. It was fun watching people try to edit the clips to match with the song. I think some people actually sang the song and then edit out the sound and added the song on.
